Fiery Head-On Collision near Highway 145 Resulted in 4 Fatalities

MADERA, CA (April 22, 2022) – A head-on crash on Highway 41 claimed the lives of Destiny Salinas and Danielle Mesta Friday evening.

According to police, the collision happened just before midnight on April 8th, along Highway 41 near Highway 145.

Under unknown circumstances, a two-door Scion collided head-on with a Honda Accord causing the vehicles to become engulfed in flames.

Eventually, firefighters and paramedics arrived, extinguished the fire and declared four people dead at the scene. Meanwhile, officials were able to identify two of the victims as Salinas and Mesta, both 33-year-old Fresno residents.

No further details regarding the collision, or who was driving at the time, are currently available.

At this time, Madera Officials are still conducting an active investigation into the fatal collision along Highway 41.
