Mother and Daughter Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Collision

SAN JOSE, CA (April 15, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash on Ocala Avenue took the life of Narinder Kaur and Kuljit Kaur, Thursday night.

The accident happened around 6:30 p.m., at the intersection of Ocala Avenue and Oakton Court.

According to reports, the two women were walking within a marked crosswalk when the driver of a red pickup-truck struck them.

Responding medics arrived and rushed the victims to the hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries. Authorities identified the victims as mother and daughter, 75-year-old Narinder Kaur and 53-year-old Kuljit Kaur.

Meanwhile, the suspect driver did not stop to render aid to the victims and fled the scene. They were last seen heading north on Capitol Expressway.

At this time, California Highway Patrol continues to search for the suspect and urges anyone who has information to contact their offices.
