Woman Dies in Fatal Accident on Highland Drive [Las Vegas, NV]

Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Motor Home near West Desert Inn Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (April 12, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a woman was fatally run over by a mobile home in an accident on Highland Drive.

The deadly incident occurred around 1:55 p.m., near the Strip in Las Vegas.

According to reports, the woman was holding onto the side of a motor home as it traveled east through the 3051 Highland parking lot. As the motor home made a right turn, the woman let go and fell onto the road. There, the rear wheels of the vehicle ran her over.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene, due to the extent of injuries sustained. However, authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency.

Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Further circumstances leading up to the fatal crash are still currently under active investigation.
