48-Year-Old Driver Dead after Two-Car Accident on Cedar Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 30, 2022) – Saturday evening, 48-year old Robert Lee Workman died in a crash on North Lincoln Street, police said.
California Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 8:00 p.m., on Lincoln and Cedar Street. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
Reports indicate that Workman was driving a vehicle when he collided with another car under unknown circumstances. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Workman dead at the scene.
In addition, the surrounding roadway was closed briefly while crews worked to clear debris. At this time, further events leading up to the deadly incident remain unclear.
