48-Year-Old Driver Dead after Two-Car Accident on Cedar Street

BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 30, 2022) – Saturday evening, 48-year old Robert Lee Workman died in a crash on North Lincoln Street, police said.

California Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 8:00 p.m., on Lincoln and Cedar Street. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Reports indicate that Workman was driving a vehicle when he collided with another car under unknown circumstances. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Workman dead at the scene.
