Pedestrian Dies in Traffic Accident on Harmon Avenue [Las Vegas, NV]

60-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Cameron Street

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 29, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, a pedestrian dies in a traffic accident on Harmon Avenue, police said.

Just after 12:30 a.m., the police responded to a report of a pedestrian accident at Harmon Avenue and Cameron Streets.

Furthermore, Metro police said the vehicle heading west of the Las Vegas Strip hit the 60-year-old male pedestrian while crossing at a marked crosswalk.

Eventually, the victim died at the scene while the driver of the vehicle drove away after the collision.

The sedan was reported to have damage to the left front headlight and a windshield.

As a result, the vehicle and the suspect driver were located and identified later that same day.

However, the officers did not disclose the suspect’s identity as of this time.

An investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
