67-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision near Oakdale Avenue
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 25, 2022) – Sunday morning, a rider was fatally struck in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash on Bayshore Boulevard.
Per reports, officers responded to the incident around 8:52 a.m., at the 300 block of Bayshore Boulevard near Oakdale Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located the 67-year-old male rider lying on the roadway. However, the events leading up to the incident still remain unclear.
Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
Crews closed the area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
At this time, authorities are still working to identify the hit-and-run driver who failed to stop after hitting the victim. San Francisco Officials are asking anyone with information about the motorcycle crash to contact the Police Department’s tip line at (415) 575-4444.
