Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident on R Street [Merced, CA]

Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Collision on West Donna Drive

MERCED, CA (March 8, 2022) – Saturday evening, an unidentified man died following a pedestrian accident on R Street.

The crash occurred at the intersection of R Street and West Donna Drive around 7:30 p.m.

California Highway Patrol officers received reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. Although, the manner of how the accident happened remains unclear at this time.

Responding medics declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. Officials have yet to release the victim’s name after notifying their next of kin.
