Skyline Boulevard Pedestrian Crash Resulted in One Fatality

PACIFICA, CA (March 2, 2022) A deadly pedestrian crash on Skyline Boulevard left Nathan Ponichter dead Monday night.

According to the report, officers responded around 9:30 pm on Skyline Boulevard, also known as Highway 35, between Manor and King Drives.

Upon arrival, officers located one pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the involved driver remained and cooperated with the investigation.

Later on, the San Mateo County Coroner’s Officer identified the victim as 37-year-old Nathan Ponichter of Pacifica.

The Skyline Boulevard remained closed until early Tuesday morning to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
