15-Year-Old Teen Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident on A Street
EUREKA, CA (February 24, 2021) – Saturday night, a 15-year-old girl sustained injuries in a hit-and-run collision on Henderson Street.
The accident happened around 8:47 p.m., at the intersection of Henderson Street and A Street.
According to reports, a hit-and-run traffic collision took place involving a juvenile pedestrian on a skateboard. Although, the circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear.
Paramedics responded and provided emergency medical assistance as well as transportation to the hospital for the juvenile.
At this time, police said the 15-year-old pedestrian sustained moderate facial and head injuries and is currently in a stable condition.
Officials later described the suspect car as a grey four-door sedan with a rear taillight resembling that of a Mercedes.
