Woman Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Crash near 5 Freeway
ANAHEIM, CA (February 23, 2022) – On Thursday, a hit-and-run collision on La Palma Avenue sent one woman to the hospital.
The collision happened in the area of West La Palma Avenue and Brookhurst Street, near the 5 Freeway.
Furthermore, as per CHP, a woman was walking in a marked crosswalk in the area, when a Jeep on westbound La Palma Avenue struck the woman.
Consequently, the driver did not stop and fled the scene. Meanwhile, responding medics rushed the woman to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Moreover, the officials described the car as a camouflage green and appeared to be an off-road vehicle. The driver is described as a man in his late 20s to early 30s, bald with a full beard.
Meanwhile, Officials have not released the name, age, or city of residence of the female victim.
