Wrong-Way Crash on State Route 51 Left Two Injured

PHOENIX, AZ (February 18, 2022) -A wrong-way collision on State Route 51 left two people injured Friday morning.

DPS received a report about a crash in the northbound lanes of State Route 51 at around 1:30 a.m.

Paramedics immediately responded to the scene upon receiving the report about the crash.

Furthermore, initial reports say that the driver drove into the opposite lane and caused a head-on collision with another vehicle on State Route 51 near Thomas Road.

Moreover, the occupants of the two vehicles sustained injuries.

Meanwhile, the severity of their injuries remained undetermined.
