Male Bicycle Rider Killed in Deadly Collision near Craig Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 18, 2022) – Friday morning, a male bicyclist was killed in an accident on Simmons Street.

According to the authorities, the crash took place near Craig Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Initial reports indicate that a vehicle struck a man in his 40’s riding a bicycle at the time. In addition, investigators say the victim was crossing in an unmarked crosswalk.

Following the impact, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and called for emergency help.

Due to the extent of his condition, medics pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene. Moreover, the accident prompted the closure of Simmons in both directions at Craig.

At this time, an active investigation into the fatal crash is still currently ongoing.
