49-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Highway 99

TULARE, CA (February 15, 2022)– Tuesday evening, a 49-year-old man was fatally struck in a deadly pedestrian crash on Bardsley Avenue.

The incident happened on the Highway 99 on-ramp near Bardsley Avenue around 6:30 p.m.

As per reports, the pedestrian walked directly in front of the oncoming vehicle and was struck. Due to the impact of the collision, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was not charged as investigators believed that drugs and impairment were not a factor in the crash.

At this time, authorities only identified the pedestrian as 49-year-old man from Visalia. Further details currently remain undisclosed.
