Three-Vehicle Crash on East Cypress Road Left Two Injured
OAKLEY, CA (February 9, 2022) – One individual was hospitalized after a fiery crash on Cypress Road Sunday morning.
The crash took place at the intersection of East Cypress Road and Summer Lake Drive around 9:45 a.m.
Furthermore, authorities said that the crash involved three vehicles, one of which bursted into flames.
Moreover, the one taken to a hospital was in critical condition. Consequently, another victim was also flown to a hospital with non-serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the other six people involved in the crash did not sustain injuries.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
An investigation into the crash is proceeding.
