29-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash near Palm Drive
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (February 8, 2022) – Sean Davis was fatally struck Saturday evening, in a pedestrian accident on Estrella Avenue.
According to the police, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m., near the intersection of Palm Drive and Estrella Avenue.
Per reports, 29-year-old Davis, of Palm Springs was walking along Estrella Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle. The car was driven by a 67-year-old woman from Desert Hot Springs.
Paramedics responded and took Davis to Desert Regional Medical Center. However, due to the extent of his condition, he later died from his injuries.
The woman, who was not injured, told police she had not seen Davis until right before the collision. Authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency.
As per latest reports, police are still currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash. Moreover, officers say drugs and alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
