5-Vehicle Crash on Vasco Road Ends with Injuries

BYRON, CA (February 7, 2022) – A 5-vehicle crash on Vasco Road resulted in multiple injuries Friday evening.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report around 6:35 p.m., along Vasco Road just south of Camino Diablo.

As per officials, a head-on crash involving five vehicles happened and caused one of the cars to burst into flames.

Emergency crews arrived and located multiple injuries, and at least two people were trapped inside one of the vehicles. Although at this time, the victims’ identity or condition are not known.

Moreover, officers closed the area for several hours for cleaning operations but has since reopened. At this time, an active investigation is currently underway.
