One Rider Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Accident near Roberts Lane

BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 2, 2022) – A motorcycle rider died after a collision on Sequoia Drive, Thursday evening.

The deadly accident happened on Sequoia Drive and Roberts Lane in Oildale, around 7:23 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Reports indicate that the crash involved a motorcycle and a Ford Explorer. However, the events leading up still currently remain unclear.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

At this time, no further information have been provided to the public. An active investigation to determine more details about the deadly incident is still underway.
