Jesus Eusebio Sanchez Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Shafter Avenue [Shafter, CA]

33-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Collision near Riverside Street

SHAFTER, CA (February 1, 2022) – Jesus Eusebio Sanchez was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Shafter Avenue, early Tuesday evening.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 6:02 p.m., between Riverside Street and Elizabeth Avenue.

Under unknown circumstances, Sanchez was struck by a passing vehicle while walking in the area.

Upon arrival, emergency crews immediately located 33-year-old Sanchez with life-threatening wounds. Due to the extent of his condition, Sanchez eventually succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved driver fled the scene before authorities arrived.
