Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Train Collision on First Street

POMONA, CA (January 27, 2022) Monday morning, a pedestrian was struck and killed in a train accident on second street.

Firefighters responded to the scene at around 1:00 a.m. on January 24th. For reasons unknown, a pedestrian was struck by a passing train.

Pomona police said the fatal accident kept vehicles from crossing the tracks at First Street and Hamilton Boulevard as well as other train crossings along First Street.

Moreover, the crossings were reported clear at around 4:30 a.m.

The events leading up to the deadly incident remain unclear at this time.
