Man Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Collision on Munson Way

SACRAMENTO, CA (January 27, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Florin Road.

The collision happened around 6:30 p.m., in the area of Florin Road and Munson Way. Crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, a motorcycle and another vehicle collided under unknown circumstances.

The motorcyclist, only describe as an adult man, suffered major injuries from the crash and later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Moreover, the surrounding area was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.
