Liem Bui Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision on Euclid Avenue [Fountain Valley, CA]

Pedestrian Crash on Euclid Avenue Left One Fatality

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA (January 20, 2022) – On Saturday, Liem Bui died in a DUI hit-and-run crash on Euclid Avenue, authorities said.

According to Fountain Valley police, the crash occurred about 5:39 a.m., in the southbound lanes of Euclid Avenue just north of Heil Avenue.

Furthermore upon responding, they found Bui, 71 years old, already dead at the scene.

Officers later discovered Bui had been struck by 32-year-old Amanda Martin, who tried running away.

Eventually, authorities found Martin still in her car.
