Man Seriously Hurt in Pedestrian Collision near Joe W. Brown Drive

LAS VEGAS (January 14, 2022) – Monday night, a male pedestrian was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run on Sahara Avenue.

As per initial report, the crash occurred in the area of Joe W. Brown Drive and Sahara Avenue.

Officers say a driver was heading west and struck the male pedestrian who was walking outside of a marked crosswalk. After the impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.

Paramedics arrived shortly after and rushed the pedestrian with critical injuries to a local hospital for further treatment.

Moreover, evidence found at the scene indicates that the vehicle was likely a white 2014-2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is believed to be a missing several chrome grill pieces and might have damaged its windshield.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
