Two-Vehicle Collision on US Route 97 Left One Fatality

CHELAN COUNTY, WA (January 7, 2022) – On Saturday, one unidentified individual died following a two-vehicle collision on US Route 97.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. along northbound US Route 97.

As per reports, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision that happened under unknown circumstances.

Responding emergency crews found one person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, officers did not release the identity of the victim.

Furthermore, authorities closed down the road for clearing operations but has since reopened.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Washington State Patrol officers as soon as possible.

However, an active investigation on the deadly collision on US Route 97 is underway.
