35-Year-Old Man Killed in Semi-Truck Collision near Interstate 5

SACRAMENTO, CA (January 6, 2022) – A 35-year-old driver, Baljot Singh Badyal died after a big rig accident on Del Paso Road Thursday morning.

The collision happened in the area of Del Paso Road and Interstate 5. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, Badyal’s semi-truck overturned in the roadway under unknown circumstances.

Responding officers arrived and located the driver, Badyal, dead at the scene. At this time, officials are looking into the possible cause of the collision.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during preliminary duties, but has since reopened. Sacramento police will release updates once available.
