Pedestrian Crash on Gas Point Road Sent One Unidentified Woman to Hospital
COTTONWOOD, CA (December 17, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Gas Point Road hospitalized one unidentified woman Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., along Gas Point Road.
Per reports, a driver was heading westbound and struck a female pedestrian who was standing in the traffic lane.
Responding medics arrived and took the pedestrian to Mercy Medical Center Redding with major injuries. At this time, police have not released information about her current condition.
Cottonwood police are still currently working to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident on Varner Road.
