One Dead after Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash on Lambert Road [Whittier, CA]
1 Killed in Deadly Fiery Collision on Colima Road in Whittier
WHITTIER, CA (December 1, 2021) – One person died last Friday following a fiery two-vehicle crash on Lambert and Colima Road.
According to authorities, the incident involving two vehicles occurred around 5:30 a.m. First responders arrived to the scene shortly after.
Police said one of the vehicles, a Honda, was pinned against the wall of a flower shop. This caused both the car and a portion of the structure to become engulfed in flames.
One person involved attempted to flee the scene but is now in custody, police said. One person was trapped inside the Honda, and pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the events that led up to the crash remain unclear. However, further information will provided as soon as it is made available.
