Two-Car Crash at Mission Gorge Road Left 34-Year-Old Driver with Serious Injuries

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 1, 2021) – A 34-year-old man sustained injuries Tuesday following a two-car crash at Mission Gorge Road.

The crash took place around 5:00 a.m. at 7300 Mission Gorge Road in the Allied Gardens neighborhood. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, the 34-year-old driver of an Acura crashed into the rear of a street sweeper. As a result of the impact, the Acura driver sustained a broken sternum, fractured ribs and internal injuries.

Investigators released no information about the street sweeper driver.

Paramedics then rushed the Acura driver to a local hospital for treatment. Officers withheld his identity and place of residency.
