Amanuel Negash Fatally Struck in Big-Rig Accident on Bellegrave Avenue [Eastvale, CA]
60-Year-Old Victim Killed in Semi-Truck Collision on Jamestown Avenue
EASTVALE, CA (November 30, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, 60-year-old Amanuel Negash was killed in a big-rig accident on Bellegrave Avenue.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 3:03 p.m., at the intersection near Jamestown Avenue. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.
Per reports, Negash was heading east on Bellegrave Avenue when he veered into oncoming traffic for reasons unknown. As a result, he struck a westbound white Freightliner Cascadia that was traveling on Bellegrave.
Due to the impact, emergency responders pronounced Negash dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Freightliner driver was not injured and cooperated with the investigation.
Bellegrave Avenue was closed during cleanup duties, but has since reopened. Those with more information regarding the collision are encouraged to call 951-955-2600.
