Fatal Jet Ski Accident under Coronado Bridge
CORONADO, CA (November 24, 2021) – On Friday, a young unidentified man lost his life after a tragic jet ski accident under Coronado Bridge.
The incident happened around 12:26 p.m. November 20, when CHP officers received reports numbers of jet skis colliding under the Coronado Bridge.
Responding officers located and dragged an unresponsive man out of the water and brought him near the docks. However, despite life-saving attempts, the man later died from the crash.
Authorities, at this time, did not released his name or age, until next of kin is notified.
Meanwhile, CHP said other jet ski drivers involved only sustained minor injuries and medics took them to hospitals for treatment.
An active inquiry is still continuing at this moment. Coronado police will update more information when it becomes available.
