Sabas Ruiz Galviz Fatally Struck in Taco Truck Crash [Fresno, CA]
Rolando Alvarenga-Aguilar Arrested after Fatal Truck Accident near Belmont Avenue
FRESNO, CA (October 25, 2021) – Last Saturday, Sabas Ruiz Galviz, 60, was killed in a deadly crash on Maple and Belmont Avenue.
The fatal accident occurred last weekend in a parking lot along the intersection. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
Galviz was a customer at the food truck when the van’s driver, Rolando Alvarenga-Aguilar, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the truck, plowing into a crowd of customers.
Aguilar was reportedly driving intoxicated at the time of the accident and is now facing a slew of charges, including vehicular manslaughter.
