Three-Vehicle Collision on State Route 69 Left 2 Hospitalized

PRESCOTT, AZ (October 21, 2021) – Two people were injured following a three-vehicle collision on State Route 69, last Monday morning.

According to Prescott Police Officers they received a report of the three-vehicle collision around 9:06 a.m. after a deer attempted to cross the roadway.

Consequently, a vehicle then struck the rear of a 2013 Acura sedan driven by a 21-year-old Prescott Valley woman.

Afterward, it caused her car to spin into the median. Meanwhile the vehicle continued heading west and struck the rear of a Toyota 4-runner before it finally stopped. 

Furthermore, both drivers did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

Moreover the incident caused a temporary closing of Westbound 69, police said.

Authorities continue to investigate the three-vehicle collision on State Route 69.
