At Least 1 Dead after Fatal Collision on Loop 101 [Scottsdale, AZ]
Deadly Motorcycle Accident near Hayden Road in Scottsdale
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (October 19, 2021) – Early Sunday night, at least one person was killed in a fatal motorcycle collision on Loop 101.
Emergency crews received dispatch calls regarding the accident around 6:00 p.m. Authorities arrived to the scene near Hayden Road, shortly after.
Per preliminary findings, a motorcyclist was traveling near the center median when a vehicle was blocking the HOV lane. As a result, the motorcycle and multiple vehicles collided.
Due to the impact of the collision, at least one of the vehicles became engulfed in flames.
In addition, medics responded and pronounced at least one person dead at the scene. However, their identity has not yet been released.
