Traffic Accident on Garey Avenue Left One Individual Dead

POMONA, CA (October 18, 2021) – One person tragically died in a traffic accident on Garey Avenue last Tuesday.

At about 11:10 a.m. on October 12, the California Highway Patrol responded to Garey Avenue and Philadelphia Street after reports of a two-vehicle accident.

Emergency crews located one individual and pronounced them dead upon arrival. However, officers have yet to identified the victim.

At this time the events leading up to the disaster, according to investigators, are still unclear.

Pomona Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash to call the them at their local office.

An active investigation remains ongoing into the fatal accident on Garey Avenue.
