One Person Killed in Deadly Pedestrian Accident on South Union Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 6, 2021) – Donna Jo Czechan was fatally hit by vehicle on South Union Avenue in Bakersfield last Saturday night.
The tragic collision occurred on South Union Avenue, just south of Pacheco Avenue, sometime after 10:50 p.m. on October 2.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black car was seen heading north on South Union Avenue following the collision.
Responding officers pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Authorities later identified the victim as 56-year-old Donna Jo Czechan from Bakersfield.
Meantime, this fatal accident is still under investigation.
