4 Injured in DUI Crash on Columbia Street [North Kitsap, WA]
DUI Crash on Columbia Street Hospitalized at least 4
NORTH KITSAP, WA (October 4, 2021) – A suspected DUI collision on Columbia Street injured four individuals early Saturday.
The collision occurred at 12:11 a.m. on September 25 on Columbia Street near Robin Lane.
According to accounts, the 18-year-old Bremerton lady was speeding south on Columbia Street in a 2007 Hyundai Elantra when she came off of a curve and lost control.
As a result, the vehicle came to a rest upside down on the opposite side of the road, according to an officer.
Medics airlifted two people in the car, a male and a female, to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, other paramedics took two others who also sustained serious injuries, to St. Michael Medical Center.
Eventually, the motorist was apprehended and brought into the Kitsap County Jail on four charges of vehicular assault.
Investigators think the driver and passengers were leaving a party near the Poulsbo cemetery.
