Man Dies in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on 288th Street [Federal Way, WA]

Fatal Pedestrian Crash on 288th Street Kills 1 Person

FEDERAL WAY, WA (September 29, 2021) One unidentified person died Wednesday night after a pedestrian hit-and-run on 288th Street.

The accident happened around 7:30 p.m., in the 2500 block of South 288th Street on September 22. Officers responded at the scene and located a man in his 50s with multiple injuries.

Medics performed life-saving measures on the man but he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not yet released his identity until his next of kin is notified.

At this time, the police did not release any additional information about the hit-and-run driver. However, an active investigation is underway.
