Motorcycle Crash on Riverside Boulevard Left One Fatality

SACRAMENTO, CA (September 21, 2021) – On Friday, a deadly motorcycle crash on Riverside Boulevard claimed the life of one motorcyclist, police said.

The fatal incident occurred just after 1:00 p.m., in the area of Riverside Boulevard and Swanston Drive.

Afterwards, first responders arrived at the scene and located the motorcyclist with serious injuries.

However, despite the life saving efforts of the paramedics, the rider died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the involved truck remained on scene and cooperated with the investigators.

In the end, Sacramento Officials closed down a part of the roadway in the area, but have since reopened.

At this time, the identity of the deceased remains unavailable.
