One Killed, Two Injured in DUI Crash on Highway 99, Jacob McPherson Arrested
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 21, 2021) – Last Thursday, Jacob McPherson was arrested after a multi-vehicle collision that killed one and injured two others.
The fatal incident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m., near the Stockton Boulevard on-ramp.
According to reports, Police were pursuing McPherson in a suspected stolen vehicle when he headed down Highway 99 going the wrong way.
However the pursuit ended when McPherson collided with a Honda Insight head-on near the on ramp.
In addition both McPherson and his passenger received major injuries, unfortunately his passenger was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
Furthermore the unidentified driver of the Honda was critically injured as well and was rushed to the hospital to receive treatment.
Police shut down the roadway for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened.
At this time, no further information is available on their current condition.
