Deadly Collision on Wildwood Road Kills 18-Year-Old Male
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 14, 2021) – Jose Juan Rosas Jr. died Friday morning in a traffic collision on Wildwood Road and Sherwood Avenue.
The fatal accident happened around 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Wildwood Road and Sherwood Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided in the intersection for reasons unknown.
Ultimately the crash killed one person, 18-year-old Jose Juan Rosas Jr.
It is also known that the truck continued north and was involved in a separate accident, before pulling over to wait for emergency services.
Furthermore, the CHP said truck was transporting pistachios at the time, which some of the content spilled out onto the roadway.
In addition, officials closed the road for cleanup and investigation.
No other details have been released as to the events causing the collision on Wildwood Road, however an investigation is ongoing.
