Hit-and-Run Crash on Durango Drive Claimed the Life of a 15-Year-Old Boy
LAS VEGAS, NV ( September 15, 2021 ) – Friday night, September 10, a 15-year-old boy was killed after a hit-and-run crash on Durango Drive.
The crash took place just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of South Durango Drive and West Robindale Road, near Rhodes Ranch, per the report.
According to the witnesses, the 15-year-old and his brother were attempting to cross against the roadway when they were struck by a red Dodge Charger who was heading northbound to the intersection.
Police reported that the teenager was thrown forward and onto the ground, and the vehicle’s driver then fled the scene.
The car was last spotted on Durango Drive, heading north.
A red Dodge Charger with damage to the left front end and windshield, as well as a missing left side view mirror, is being sought by police.
