Officer Injured in Motorcycle Crash on 210 Freeway [Glendora, CA]

210 Freeway Crash Injures LAPD Motorcycle Officer

GLENDORA, CA (September 3, 2021) – On Wednesday, a motorcycle crash on the 210 Freeway hospitalized one LAPD officer, authorities said.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the incident shortly after 5:30 A.M. at the 210 Freeway near Grand Avenue.

Upon arrival, first responders located the injured LAPD officer and transported him to a hospital for immediate medical attention.

Later on, investigators determined that the crash occurred when the officer was on his way to work in a 2015 LAPD-issued BMW motorcycle.

The two truck drivers involved, who were uninjured, stayed on scene to cooperate with authorities.

As a result, officials closed down several lanes of 210 Freeway as cleanup crews cleared out the scene.

Eventually, the CHP cancelled the SigAlert around 6:30 A.M. and reopened all the lanes.
