Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Accident on Cedar Avenue Kills Dinh Nguyen
FRESNO, CA (September 1, 2021) – 78-year-old Dinh Nguyen died last Thursday morning after being hit by a car on Cedar Avenue.
The accident happened shortly before 6:45 a.m. on Cedar Avenue and Hamilton Avenues near Sequoia Middle School.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle moving southbound struck Nguyen under unknown circumstances.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene for rendering aid, unfortunately, Nguyen died as a result of their injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
At this time, authorities have not yet released any other information. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
