Pickup Truck Accident Injures 5 Students Including Sal Barbalindaro and Leaves 1 Dead
LIVERMORE, CA (August 31, 2021) – Last Friday, a pickup truck accident killed one student, and left Sal Barbalindaro and four others classmates seriously injured.
According to the CHP, the incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. on Del Calle Road next to Mines Road. For reasons unknown, a pickup truck carrying Barbalindaro and 5 other classmates overturned down an embankment, ejecting multiple individuals from the truck.
Moreover two students needed to be airlifted out, while the other four were driven to local trauma centers via ambulances.
Furthermore, officials say that speed may have been a factor, but an active investigation remains ongoing..
