Sharri Wood and Sandra Williams Dead; Man Arrested in DUI Collision in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ ( August 24, 2021 ) – Wednesday Night, Sharri Wood, 54, and Sandra Williams, 72, died in a deadly DUI crash along Camelback Road.

The crash took place at around 10:30 p.m. near 59th Avenue and Camelback Roads, as stated by the report.

According to police, a sedan driven by Williams with woods in the passenger seat going east on Camelback Road from 59th Avenue. Furthermore, Williams turned left into a private driveway when their vehicle was struck by an SUV approaching 59th Avenue from the west on Camelback Road.

Per the report, the SUV driver, 44-year-old Bushiri Kibukila of Phoenix, was detained for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Meanwhile, the crash is under going investigation.
