Woman Hurt After Pursuit with Police Ends in Crash on S. Virginia Street
RENO, NV (July 29, 2021) – An unidentified female driver sustained injuries Wednesday night after a pursuit ends in acrash on S. Virginia Street in Reno.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on June 23, on S. Virginia Street near Parr Boulevard.
According to reports, deputies were pursuing a white SUV on Parr Boulevard for unspecified reasons. Deputies decided to call off the chase because the driver was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed.
Moments later, officials discovered the crashed vehicle on S. Virginia Street. The driver overcorrected and rolled her vehicle.
Paramedics then rushed her to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
