3 Injured in Car Crash on West 220th Street [Torrance, CA]
Infant and Mother Ejected from Vehicle after Collision in Torrance
TORRANCE, CA (August 3, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a crash on West 220th Street that left an infant and her mother with serious injuries.
The incident happened just before 5:00 p.m., on Thursday at West 220th Street and South Western Avenue, when a woman attempted a U-turn, striking another vehicle.
In addition, one other person received injuries from the two-vehicle crash on West 220th Street.
At this time, the identities of the involved parties, including the mother and the infant remain unavailable.
The Torrance Police Department is currently working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Moreover, the surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the road has since reopened to traffic.
