3 Separate Crashes in Sacramento Leaves 3 Fatalities

SACRAMENTO, CA (July 27, 2021) – Police reported 3 separate crashes in Sacramento to Stockton late Monday night that also left 3 people killed.

First, officers received a report around 8:50 P.M. along State Route 99 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard off-ramp.

Upon arrival, police determined that a tractor-trailer truck traveling northbound fatally struck a pedestrian.

The incident shut down the slow lane and the off-ramp for at least two hours.

Afterwards, the CHP responded to another pedestrian accident near the area of Q and 22nd streets in North Sacramento around 9:28 P.M.

However, the details surrounding the fatal crash remain unclear.

Lastly, a collision around 11:29 P.M., southbound I-5 near the West Alpine took one person’s life after getting trapped inside a burning vehicle.

The identities of the deceased victims of the three separate crashes remains unavailable, pending notification from their next of kin.
