Oroville, CA ( July 28, 2021 ) – Thursday night, July 15, a motorcyclist died after a hit-and-run crash in Oroville.
The crash took place at around 9:50 p.m. on Highway 70 north of Feather River Boulevard, as stated by the report.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver was heading south and suddenly crashed with a motorcycle, forcing the motorcyclist to lose control and strike into a guardrail.
The unknown driver fled the scene in the southbound lane and has yet to be found.
CHP is attempting establish the cause of the incident, which is still being investigated.
