Allen Joson Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 37 [Sonoma, CA]

47-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Accident on Highway 37

SONOMA, CA (June 15, 2021) – 47-year-old Allen Glenn Sison Joson died Wednesday evening after a motorcycle accident on Highway 37.

The crash happened around 7:00 p.m., on Highway 37. Officers arrived just west of the Richard “Fresh Air” Janson Bridge over Sonoma Creek.

For reasons still unknown, a Chevrolet Express van rear-ended Joson’s motorcycle on eastbound Highway 37 when he started to slow down for traffic backup ahead.

Due to the impact of the collision, the motorcycle was pushed off the road and went down an embankment.

A Hyundai Sonata then rear-ended the van, which was then rear-ended by a Dodge Ram pickup-truck. Following the collision, both the van and the Sonata slid down the embankment.

When first responders arrived, they discovered Joson lying in the thick brush nearby. Due to the extent of his condition, medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, emergency crews took the Sonata’s driver, a 66-year-old woman, to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

The CHP stated that neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident, but an investigation is ongoing.
