Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident on Newland Avenue near Heil Street Westminster
WESTMINSTER, CA (May 19, 2021) – Thursday night on May 13, a motorist died in a fatal accident on Newland Avenue and Heil Street.
Emergency crews responded to a call just before 8:55 p.m., at the area of Newland Avenue and Heil Street.
According to reports, the motorcyclist was heading east on Heil and suddenly crash into a northbound vehicle.
Officers found a motorcycle in the middle of the intersection on Newland Avenue and the rider on the ground. However, the events leading up remain unclear.
Due to the extent of his condition, paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. At this time, officers have not said whether or not the driver was injured.
Authorities said, the cause of the wreck was under investigation, and investigators were looking for security footage from local businesses.
Meanwhile, the identity of the motorcyclist has not been released. Once available, more information will be released.
